Policy exclusions
Unfortunately there are certain categories of individual and vehicle for whom we are unable to provide cover. These are:
A learner driver:
- Who has any fault motor accident claims against them, excluding windscreen claims
- Whose main income is derived from taking part in professional sports or entertaining the public
- Who has any motor convictions or convictions pending (including fixed penalty notices)
- Who does not hold a current UK provisional driving licence
- Who hasn’t been a UK resident for a minimum of 2 years
- Resident in excluded postcodes
Vehicles
- In insurance group 13 or above
- With a new or current value in excess of £20,000
- Left hand drive
- That have been modified and not built to UK specifications
- That has more than 7 seats
- Which are not separately insured on a motor policy by the
registered keeper
- Registered at an excluded postcodes
A person supervising the driver:
- Who is under 25 years of age
- Who does not hold a current full UK driving licence
- Who has not held a full UK driving licence for more than 3 years
- Who hasn’t been a UK resident for a minimum of 2 years
I have no knowledge of any fault accidents (a fault accident or claim is one which would have resulted in an insurer making a payment and/or loss of no claims bonus) or claims I am liable for,
I have no motor convictions or motor convictions pending and
the registered owner / keeper of the vehicle has a current motor insurance policy in place.
